Fathers and Sons Campout

Brett, with the help of Tanner, took Bradock and our 3 nephews to the Father and Sons campout last weekend. Brett didn't take the camera, but I got two pix messages on my phone of all the little boys chillin in their camping chairs...love it and even more so that I wasn't the one that had to go camping.

Raylee and I got to have a GNO with Rachel and Carsyn Friday night while the boys were gone. We did a little couponing, shopping, eating and having a good time. Here's Ray Ray with her new, cute haircut that Grandma Tindall gave her. She's looking less like a baby and more like a little girl. People are always amazed when I tell them that she is only 9 months old because she looks so much older...I think it's because of all her hair.

We're Gonna Party Like it's Your Birthday...

My two favorite boys had their birthdays this week. Brett turned 29 on April 15th and Bradock turned 2 on the 17th. My parents decided to come down from Pinetop to celebrate their birthdays on Friday, so we had a fun celebration at Peter Piper Pizza. Sarah and Chance came too and we had so much fun hanging out together. Bradock was having a blast, especially playing in their jungle gym area until he fell head first down the tube slide (I think he though it was an ongoing tunnel) and totally got a bloody nose. Hey it's his birthday and he can cry if he wants to. The tears didn't last long with all the fun toys and games to play there. We enjoyed some yummy pizza and then played some more back at our house. Of course a birthday celebration wouldn't be complete without a little Nelson's Frozen Custard...yummy!!

Raylee sure loves to eat pizza crust.

Bradock got his first book of Spanish words. I figure we can learn together.

We have to thank the Hall Family for upgrading to a big trampoline and for giving us their awesome mid-size trampoline. Bradock loves it and it really is the perfect size, especially for our little backyard.

I don't think it will be long before for this little girl starts walking. Just the other day she pulled herself up to Bradock's little play table, grabbed a chair and started walking and pushing that thing around our kitchen. She definitely wants to walk, but is just trying to figure out how it all works.

Raylee decided that just looking at Maggie's kennel was no fun and crawled right on in.

Then she got stuck and didn't know how to get out.

Raylee was crawling all over the yard and she must have gotten sick of being on her knees because she started neandrathal walking on all fours...it was hilarious.

On Saturday the whole Flaherty crew headed to the desert for some quading, or as Bradock likes to call them "motorcycle", fun. Here's Bob taking the grandkids for a little ride.

Bradock sure loves his new wagon that he got for his birthday from Grandma Tindall.

Easter Weekend

Happy Easter Everyone!!

Bradock sure loves to hug, mawl, jump on, tickle, kiss, wrestle, push, and love on his little sister...she is learning to be one tough cookie.

My mom bought Raylee her cute little Easter dress...she looked like a little doll.

Sarah and Chance came over to Bob and Terri's to say hello before they headed to their Easter dinner at Chance's parents house. Raylee was having fun giggling at Uncle Chance.

Grandpa Bob got the great idea of taking his big gardening wagon and loading it with the grandkids. Then he decided it would be even more fun to jump with them on the trampoline. Who needs Disneyland when you have the "Bob" ride.

Isn't that sweet...a little "Happy Easter" kiss.

All the guys playing a little football, while Brett is hiding the eggs.

Here are all the grandkids, with the exception of Stella, getting ready for Grandma's fun Easter Egg Hunt.

Isn't she the cutest little egg eater you ever did see?

Raylee just loves to try and climb right on top of me.

Bradock and dad having fun wrestling in the grass.

My favorite thing on Sunday evenings is to make homemade popcorn and watch movies. We had rented "Bedtime Stories" and let Bradock stay up late with mom and dad and enjoy our little tradition. I made kettle corn from scratch and it was so yummy!!

Why Me?!!!

I have come to the conclusion that as long as I am the wife of a dental student I will be a guinea pig for the rest of my life...aren't you jealous? Brett's dental class began seeing their first patients this last week and, lucky me, I got to be Brett's first patient. I guess I should refer to him as "Dr. Flaherty" (so weird) because he kept calling me "ma'm" through the whole procedure. I was trying really hard not to laugh the whole time because he was acting all serious and I just thought it was hilarious. In fact, these pics are from him using this crazy contraption to take impressions of my mouth. Some of his buddies were hanging around watching him make a fool out of me and taking pics all the while. Well, when he was about to put that gross goop in my mouth for the upper teeth impression his buddy made a joke and I just busted out laughing. It was one of those moments where I couldn't stop laughing and tears were streaming down my face, while Brett is begging me to stop laughing and sit still, so he could get the impression. Unfortunately, he couldn't make the impression and instead had made a mess of everything. He blamed me for ruining it, but I blame his friend for making me laugh. Anyways, it was kind of a long process being at the dental school and Brett's first actual patient, but fun to have my hubby doing what he loves and to experience it with him. I promise he will be a really good dentist in a couple of years:)

Doesn't this look like so much fun? I sure look excited in this pic, huh?

Bradock asleep during one of the General Conference sessions. Actually, this little kid has started a bad habit and took a nap during pretty much every session that came on.

This is a random pic of Raylee. She is a crawling machine and probably wishes she could walk already. She is in to everything and can't seem to sit still for nothing.
