First Modeling Job

A couple weeks ago Riggy took some photos for a company who sells baby items on Etsy. The company hired a local Payson photographer, Snap Happy Photography, to take the pics so she was looking for local babies between 3-6 months. We also got to do a little mini photo session after she got the pics with him in the sellers product. It turned out to be a cold and windy day and Rig was being so funny. He wasnt really giving his usual big smiles but more like little smirks. Oh well, he's still such a cutie!

4 Months Old

My little yoda (sorry Rig but you got my ears) turned 4 months old this week. We decided to celebrate by giving him his first buzz. He had bald spots in the back of his head and his baby fine hair needed a trim so the summer buzz it was. He did such a good job and didn't even cry but he sure made this sad but super adorable face. That pouty lip! He also had his 4 month wel checkup and it looks like he is still on the path to being tall and skinny. 14.10lbs (40th percentile), 26in long (90th percentile) and head circumference of 17in ( 50th percentile). The dr said his developmental skills are amazing and he is super attentive, observant and strong. I can't believe it's been 4 months already but I'm loving every new stage and every new thing he learns to do or discover.

Mr. B also got the summer buzz and after putting on my sunglasses I thought he looked just like the rapper, Pitbull. Too funny!

Workout Buddy

Besides teaching my HIIT class Mon and Wed mornings I try and workout in my garage at least 4 days/week. I always weight lift and if I have time I will do treadmill sprints or 20 min or so of steady state cardio. Now that Riggy stays awake  for longer periods of time he usually hangs out in the garage with me while I workout. The other day I decided to incorporate him into some of my workout by putting him in our baby pac on my back. He made for some great added weight. I can't wait for the day when my kids will really be old enough to workout together.

Mother's Day

Found this old gem while looking through my photo stash so I decided to post it for Mother's Day. My mom is 62 but certainly doesn't let age slow her down. She works hard, plays hard and tries to serve as much as she can. I hope to have half that energy at her age:)

And just for fun here is another goodie. That was absolutely, hands down my favorite outfit. Total flashback!

Payson Wildlife Fair and Fishing

Last Saturday we went down to Green Valley park to check out the wildlife fair. The kids had a lot of fun seeing and petting some of the animals, especially the snake and gator. Later that night we got a babysitter (what 2 weekends in a row?!) so Brett and I could go to dinner and a movie. He wanted to take me out for Mother's Day. We ate at Mackey's and then went and saw "The Other Woman". I can't remember the last time Brett and I went out just the two of us but it was so fun. I think we might have to make date night a weekly occurrence:)

Love My Boys

I was walking by the family room the other day and I look over to see Bradock holding Rig up and making him smile the biggest smiles ever. It just melted my heart. Riggy just lights up at Bradock and Ray. Good thing he has good examples to follow because I have a feeling he will want to be just like them.

MSA Banquet

A couple weeks ago we attended our 4th Moggolon Sporting Association Fundraiser Banquet. Brett actually got a table for us through Center Point Dental. Sarah and Chance came up so they could go with us so our table included us 4 plus our friends Tawni and Justen and Alleesha and Levi. It was such a fun night. Brett ended up getting pretty lucky and won a thermos (which he is absolutely in love with), a fishing pole and 2 rifles. This was our first night getting a sitter and it was so nice to go out. Brett and I definitely need to do that more often.

The sitter sent me this cute pic of Sarah and I's kids lookin out the window at the elk. Wild child Vada was running around naked so we got a good shot of her bun cheeks.

Makeup Makeovers

I got asked to do one of my friend's daughter's makeup for prom. I decided to do a little practice run on Raylee. I have never done makeup on anyone else before but it was so much fun. I wish I had gotten before and after photos of Allie's makeup. She looked beautiful! And of course Miss Ray looked gorgeous, as always.
