2nd Annual Mogollon 5k Monster Mudder

Yesterday we participated in our second year of Payson's Mogollon Monster mudder. My gym, Club USA, actually sponsored us and it was so fun to do it with such an awesome team. We even convinced Sarah and Chance to come up and be apart of the team. I actually came in 44th out of the 400+ people that participated finishing in 40min. I was pretty proud of myself since I haven't been doing a whole lot of cardio or running lately. With my limited time I have mainly focused on weight lifting which did help out with some of the obstacles. It was a total blast and I can't wait to do it again next year.

Go Team Club USA!!!

Of course Brett has to make something crazy even crazier. Here he is in action doing a flip into one of the mud pools.

Bradock and Raylee wanted to get in on the fun and participated in the kids' Mud Run. They did so awesome! Miss Ray actually surprised me the most and got super competitive. My friend who was watching the race actually witnessed her dunk Bradock in the water so she could get ahead. I had no idea she had it in her. She hasn't liked any sports we have put her in but let her run wild and she's all for it. Both of them can't wait to do it again next year too.

Water Wheel

Summer time is in full effect and we are back to our summer hang out. The kids love going to Water Wheel to hike and play in the water. It's so nice to have these fun outdoor places to visit so close to home.

I figured the water would still be too cold so I didn't think to have the kids wear their swimsuits. Well I thought wrong! These kids don't mind a little freezing cold:)

Early Bird and Night Owl

This picture completely captures these two to a T. Miss Ray is definitely my night owl and hates waking up in the mornings. Mr. B on the other hand is the early bird and can barely stay awake in the evenings. Love these two and their opposite personalities.

Park Time

Murph Workout

On Memorial Day my HIIT class took a field trip over to Payson Elite Rim Country crossfit to participate in the Murph workout. The workout consisted of running 1 mile, doing 100 pull-ups 200 push-ups, 300 squats and then finishing off with another 1 mile run. It was an exhausting workout but super fun. It's always a great day when you start it off by breaking a good sweat:)

So Long Kindergarten

Raylee had a great first year of school and was so cute at her kindergarten celebration concert. Her teacher, Mrs. Dailey, is retiring this year and we were so lucky that both Bradock and Ray got her for kindergarten. She is seriously the best! We will miss her. At least we will always remember her since Raylee named our horse Mimi after her:)

Weeeeeeeee!

Big Boy

Riggy sure is growing like a weed. He is the happiest baby who hates to sleep...lucky me:) He is seriously the cutest baby though and gets complimented on it all the time. He has been rolling over from tummy to back for awhile now but just recently rolled from back to tummy. Even though he doesn't really like being on his tummy. He also scoots himself in circles, yanks off his socks, tries to eat his toes and any toy he happens to be holding. He has the cutest eyes and smile and he loves watching ray and Bradock play. He got to go swimming in grandma and grandpas pool last weekend but cold water isn't really his thing. I'm crossing my fingers that he starts sleeping through the night because in feeling like one tired mama all the time. I'm still breastfeeding and just this week we started giving him rice cereal at dinner. He scarfs it down pretty good so I'm hoping once we have solid foods well established sleep will get better...at least I hope!

Newest Cousins

The Halls came up for some dental work and it was the first time Riggy got to meet his cousin, Landry. I can't believe there will be 4 new Flaherty grand kids born in 2014. Heidi is next due in July and Kiley is due in November. It will be fun to have a pic with all 4.

The Cutest!

New Slide

Well the tree house sure is coming along. Brett ordered a twist slide and with the help of my dad got it installed and secured. It is actually only a 7ft slide so Brett did some finagling and was able to order just an extra section to make the slide longer. We began painting the inside so the only thing left is putting a roof on it. For now it's pretty awesome though.

Rodeo Fun

It was rodeo time again here in Payson and my little mutton bustin champ was ready to ride the sheep again. My parents and Sarah, Channce and the girls came up to see him ride. He did so awesome and would have won first again but his sheep took a nose dive and did a full somersault. Bradock even had the battle wound to prove it. The sheep stepped right on his ear but he was a tough cowboy and we were so proud of him winning second place.

Boys Camping=Girls GNO

A couple weekends ago it was our ward's father and sons Campout but when Brett found out that it was the same weekend as the Halls and Gonzalez's ward Campout him and Bradock decided to go to theirs instead. Here's a pic of all the kids before the boys headed to the halls cabin to Camp.
They were having so much fun at the Hall's cabin that they decided to ditch fathers and sons and just stay at the cabin the next night too.
My mom and dad happen to be in town so they watched Rig while I took Raylee on a much needed one on one girls date. I let her pick what we were going to do so she decided we would have Mackey's for dinner and then go see The Legend of Oz at the movie theatre.
This girl cracks me up! She told our server she didn't want a kids menu but wanted a bacon cheeseburger off the big menu. To no surprise she scarfed that plate clean and even finished off with an icecream cone from scoops. I have never see a kid eat like her. She most certainly could give someone a run for their money in an eating contest. It was such a fun night and I loved getting to hang with my little chica.
