My Life

Loving this big eyed little girl who is growing so fast. She pulls herself up on everything, hates baby food, is really starting to crawl, weighs 18lbs and is only 6 lbs shy of her brother, the strongest little thing, looks older than she is and has an attitude to go with it and I just can't get enough of her.

I call this little boy my "human garbage disposal". He eats anything and everything, including the baby food sister won't eat, loves motorcycles, trucks and buses, loves to say "I help" and has to help with anything I am doing, loves going "night night", is becoming so talkative and clearer to understand, my favorite is when he says "I'm a mess" when he is dirty and "Have fun" when he says goodbye to someone, such an easy-going, observant little guy just like his dad and is STILL a total daddy's boy and I love him to death.

Thank goodness for double strollers...where would I be without one?

This last pic is really, really disgusting, but the story of my life with a dental student as a husband. Brett was doing his oral surgery course and wanted to get a head start in suturing. My dad, being a doctor and an excellent stitcher, decided to give him a few pointers. After hanging out with my family and going out to dinner, Brett stopped at a Food City on our way home to run in and get something. First of all, it wasn't just a something it was a really big, disgusting cow tongue that cost a whopping $11. Him and my dad spent the rest of the evening practicing different suture techniques on my kitchen counter...how gross is that?!! I am so glad Brett found it completely fun and fascinating and couldn't get enough of it because I stayed a good distance from him and the "surgery" area until I knew he had completely sanitized my whole kitchen. I am so proud of Brett for continuing to do so well in school and has such a strong desire to be a dentist. I just can't wait until he's working on patients in an office and not on cow tongues on my counter.

I love your new family pic! yikes about the cow tounge but way to be proactive Brett! That cracks me up about Braddock eating Raylee's baby food, Violet is opposite, she'll eat anything we put in front of her. Did Katie call you about Chucky Cheese tomarrow?

That is so yucky about the tongue, you didn't tell me about that one! At least Brett and your dad can have a common activity together :). So you have to let me now how your dental appt. went with Brett today!
