Snowflake Pioneer Celebration

This last month has been a whirlwind, but after getting home from Girl's Camp, I figured why not take another trip. We left Friday evening and headed up to my parents in Pinetop, so we could attend the 24th of July Pioneer celebration in Snowflake on Saturday.

We started Saturday off with the Snowflake parade. The kids loved it. Bradock had fun getting lots of candy and Raylee couldn't keep her hands out of the dirt and her mouth.
Grandma Tindall bought Raylee this cute little wagon for her birthday. They were having fun eating gold fish waiting for the parade to start.

"Oh please mom, stop with the pictures."
Raylee sure loves her Uncle Chance. Her favorite is his cow and elk call sounds.
At the end of the parade, the fire dept started launching massive streams of water. I have never seen anything like it.

We got in to the truck to head to the carnival at the park and Bradock and Raylee took all of 2 seconds to konk out.

Once we got to the park, Grandma Tindall was wondering if Bradock would like to ride the train. I wasn't sure if he would do it alone, but as soon as he saw it I couldn't tear him away from it. He loved every minute of the ride. Trying to get him out was a lot more difficult.
Saturday evening we headed to the Snowflake rodeo. We had fun sitting with Sarah and Chance and the Crockett family.
Sitting next to me is our neighbor, Jake Crockett. He had this crazy idea of trying to get Brett to enter the St. John's rodeo next weekend to bull ride. I said "ABSOLUTELY NOT." Well, after watching the bull riders in Snowflake get thrown off, hung up by their hands, and ambulanced out, I think Jake officially changed his mind...thank goodness!!
