Happy New Year! I can't believe what year it is...a new decade has begun once again. Time has flown and the older I get the faster it seems to slip away from me. I just keep thinking that the years just keep getting better and I can't think how the next will top the one before, but somehow it does. I guess I can just count myself lucky and extremely blessed. Well, we started the year off right by being with family and having a really fun day. We all had lunch together at Cafe Rio and then headed to a Flaherty fave...the good ol' Brunswick bowling alley. We all had a blast and then once we were all bowled out we headed over to Yogurtland in Tempe for an amazing little treat. It was the perfect beginning to a brand new year. I can't wait to see what this year has in store for us...hopefully (and if I have any say in it) lots of great things.
All the little kids thought the ball shoot was so fascinating. I did get a little worried that someone would end up with a broken nose, but thank goodness that didn't happen.
This is one serious bowler. He has a wicked twist on the ball and I just love the professional looking leg flick. When Brett and I were dating he bought me my own bowling shoes because he new he could save a good chunk of change not having to rent mine all the time...good times and smart thinking.
