Last Friday I picked up the kids early from school and we headed down to Mesa so I could go to my midwife appt. Brett was already down there for a dental conference so we decided we would spend the night at his parents that night. Plus Tanner and Heidi were in town so we wanted to spend some time with them too. I dropped off the kids at the Flaherty's and headed to my appt to get my para-guard IUD put in. I know it was a miracle that I even got pregnant after all those years but I don't want to take any chances of it happening again...especially any time soon. It was fun to see my midwives Janice and Belinda. They always make me feel so loved and cared for.
Later that evening the Flaherty's took all of us kids (excluding the grand kids) to Osaka Japanese Steakhouse and sushi bar. It was a such a fun night. I love watching the chefs make the food right in front of you. They are so entertaining. They decided to tell him it was my bday so I got to wear this awesome mask/head and dance to their fun bday song. Aunt Diane watched our kids so we could go out which was so nice of her.
Riggy got lots of attention that weekend with all the fam excited to see him. We hadn't seen the Flaherty's since Rig's baby blessing which was over a month ago. Even though he has gotten so big Brett thinks he has some kind super baby on his hands and is always making him do crazy tricks that scare me half to death. What 2.5month old stands up on his own? Well apparently ours does:) thank goodness he just gets to relax when he hangs with grandpa bob.
