I was so excited to pick up Bradock's 12mo pics yesterday. Isn't he so handsome? He looks so grown up in this picture. I'm glad I got his pic done before Brett shaved his head. He's definately one cute baldy now. Last week we headed to the doc's for his check up and he weighed in at 21lbs 8oz (25th percentile) and measured 31in long (80th percentile). On Sunday, Bradock took his first few steps. He thinks he's so big and cool walking from me to Brett and vice versa. I can't imagine him running around, but I know it's not far off. It seems like Bradock has changed a ton in the past few days...more of a little boy and less of a baby. He's learning more and doing more and I just can't get over how fast the time goes. Here are a few of Bradock's favorites:
-hanging out with his dad (he's definately a daddy's boy)
-going to Char's house to see Tommy, Charlee's horse. Every morning when we drop Bradock off he looks out the back window and points. We say "Where's Tommy" and then he neighs like a horse. It's so darn cute
-he loves pointing at everything
-he loves to give high fives
-he loves music (especially church music, classical, 80's and hip-hop). When he is standing he bops up and down and when we are in the car he moves his chest up and down. It is the funniest thing I have ever seen.
-he loves food and a sippy cup of milk...he gets so excited when he sees Brett and I with a plate of food
-he loves balls, bats, clubs...anything he can swing or throw
-he loves to give open-mouth kisses and big bear hugs
-if you ask him where his eyes are, he starts blinking them really fast
-he loves books
-he loves to swing, play with the hose, play with Maggie, on Maggie or in her dog house
-he loves to clap and do his "fake" laugh
-he loves being outside and loves to be around other kids, especially his cousins. The other day we were looking at some pics of his cousins and he got so excited when he saw Grady.
I read this quote the other day and I think it sums up perfectly how I feel:
"Not flesh of my flesh
Nor bone of my bone,
But still miraculously my own
Never forget for a single minute,
You didn't grow under my heart,
But in it

His picture is so cute!! I honestly can't believe how fast this year has gone by!! He is getting so big! And I LOVE the quote at the end!
That is a great poem! You are lucky parents to have such an adorable and special little guy!
Cute, cute, cute! I remeber the first Sunday I saw you in our ward when Bradock was first born. I can't belive that was a year ago. You have such a beautiful family outside and inside!
He is getting so big! Don't you love how they definately look like little boys and not babies? Aren't they so fun?! :)
What a sweet post. I love that quote. He is so precious and adoreable. Its great that you are recording the cute things he does, you will want to remember those things and they change SO fast :)
so cute! and that poem...oh my gosh. so sweet!
Donnie, you do such a good job with your blog. I love that quote! Do you know who said it? I love you and Brett and Mister B. too. You are great parents and it is no wonder that he chose you to be his parents. Love Aunt Char, or to Bradock, Grandma Char.
Oh my goodness he does look like a little man not a baby!! He is too cute. I can't believe he is already a year old.
Also I have been meaning to tell you. I saw you in Blossoms the other day. You bought a pink shirt...very cute.
I love the poem and your list of Braddock's favorite. He's such a happy little guy.
Let's hang out next week. I know we talked about this weekend but I forgot that my mom is in town and she's staying with us! Let's try and plan sometime for next week.
Hey! I'm in for Taco Tuesday!! :) Now we can inform the boys!
Okay I don't know if I missed it somewhere on your blog but I see you have a count down until a Bolivia trip. How exciting, explain? Traveling is the best. We just got back from London and Prague. So fun! Anyway, about the boots. You will see in some of the pics it's another pair also. The lighter brown ones I got at Last Chance in Phoenix for like 50 bucks. They are Jessica Simpson and actually really comfortable. You should check it out for boots they had a bunch when I went last before I came here.
I LOVE that pic! Poor Brody has only had one pic taken professionally...I loved this post & reading all about the little man I have never met, what up with that?? lol Okay...him & Brody have alot in common! I love that he can neigh like a horse, too cute!

He looks sooo cute and he is getting soooo BIG! Doesn't the time just go by so quickly? That is great that he is already walking. Yep, you are right soon he will be running. I loved the poem too!
It was good seeing you at LC! I didn't know you went there too! Back in Jan. they had a promotion where if you bought a $50 GC then they would send you an early invite to come in an hour early on Thursday sometime. Steph and I each got one. You were allowed to bring one guest with you. It was pretty fun. We both got a really cute Coach purse. Did you find anything? I know it sucks to go and see people in there shopping before everyone. It happened to me a long time ago and it wasn't until now that I realized what they were doing in there.
