24th of July Celebration

Brett began his 6 week dental rotation in northern AZ (Flagstaff, Winslow, Leupp) this past week, so we were excited to finally see him this weekend. We decided to meet up with him at my parents, so we could enjoy a nice weekend in cooler weather and join the fun 24th of July celebration in Snowflake.

My mom, dad, sister and I headed to Snowflake early Saturday so we could run in the races down there. My mom and I ran the 10K, my dad walked it and Sarah joined her friend Tara to walk/run the 2 miler. I wished we had gotten pics, but we had a lot of fun in the foggy humidity, high altitude and hilly course...not quite used to running in those conditions, but I still finished it in 50 minutes...I was happy with that.

We then met the rest of the gang for the big parade. It was a blast hanging out with Cameron, Mele and cute little Phoebe. Raylee was quite smitten with Mele and wouldn't leave her alone.

Here are some pics of us before church on Sunday. Brett got a nice haircut (or should I say not so nice) the other day and I was hoping it would have grown out a little bit before I saw him again. Hopefully, when we see him next weekend it will look a little better.

My little man is now a big boy. That's right, he is now wearing underwear because he is totally and completely potty trained. After we got back from Lake Powell my mom had the kids in Pinetop for a couple days to hang out with my Grandma and Aunt and Uncle, who were visiting from Texas, and she decided it was time for him to learn to use the potty...probably because she didn't want to change the gazillion diapers that Mr. B and Raylee produce. After four days of hanging out with Grandma my little guy came home all grown up and done with diapers. He's had no accidents and has really caught the whole concept better than I ever could have ever imagined. My mom is seriously the greatest and I will be sending Raylee to her soon because she is already wanting to do what her big brother is doing.

Bradock also had his 3yr old check-up at the dr's the other day and his current measurements are 31#s (40th%) and 38.5in tall (60th%). I can't believe how much he has grown up and says and does the funniest things. He sure is one cute little 3 year old.
