She's a Big Girl Now

Little Miss Raylee finally turned a whopping 2 years old on the 16th. If you ask her she is 3 and most people think she is waaaay older than she is, so I think I'm going to be in big trouble in the near future. Almost everyday I get asked if Raylee and Bradock are twins...I just love that!! Unfortunately for Mr. B I do think Raylee will pass him up very soon. At her 2yr check up she weighed in at 29lbs (75th%) and 37.5in tall (97th%). She also has the biggest feet I have ever seen on a little girl. Her feet are the same size as Bradock's even though he is 15 months older. Raylee is super smart...almost too smart for her own good. She is full of attitude and keeps me on my toes. She is either super sweet with Bradock or bullying him around, which makes for some chaotic times around our house. It's not just Bradock either, but she's kind of a bully to everyone...we're working on that one. Also the ear-piercing cry that she can really belt out...again working on that one.

Some of her favorite things are: singing, dogs and horses, playing outside, being my little helper, princess stuff, Dora the Explorer, Tinker Bell, chicken nuggets (any kind of meat really), salad, pasta galore, my lip gloss/makeup/perfume, Meegan (my friend and Raylee's prefered mom), swimming, going for bike rides and watching movies. She also loves to do whatever Bradock is doing and tries to outshine him in everything. She's kind of the ring leader in our house, but I'm hoping that strong-willed personality will be put to good, positive use. She is the prettiest, little Navajo I know and we just love her to death.

This is what our little Ray of Sunshine looked like when I had to go and wake her up on her birthday. She is one good sleeper, but kind of grumpy when she wakes up.

Give her a few minutes and then she'll bring out that adorable, cheesy smile.

Brett had the day off of school and I was able to get work off, so we decided to make a spontaneous birthday lake trip to Saguaro. We went with the Gonzalez's, Tanner, Tawna and my mom.

We had lots of fun and lots of laughs, especially when we saw this boat fly off of it's trailer and land loudly on the dock...ouch!

We ended Ray's day with some pizza, cake and presents with a few friends and family. She certainly made out like a bandit in the gift dept, but hey it's not everyday that you turn 2.
