October Break Part 2

This second week of October break has been a pretty fun one. I am now an employee of Payson Athletic Club...yipee!!! I am so excited to be teaching again. I am just on the sub list, which is kind of nice...the fun of teaching without the full-time committment. This week I subbed 3 classes...2 cyclone classes (cycling/ body sculpting) and Silver Sneakers (total body fitness class for the 60+ age group). Both classes were so much fun and I got great feedback from the participants afterwards.

We also had a fun couple of days hanging out with all the Flaherty's at Camp Geronimo just outside of Payson. Bob and Terri's stake has been planning this "stake campout" for over a year now and was themed WE BELIVE IN OUR FAMILIES. They had classes set up throughout the day for the adults and fun crafts, games and well, lets be honest, free-babysitting for the kids. We managed to hit up a couple of the classes, but we really just had a great time hanging out and letting the kids play. The boys loved the zipline and the girls were loving getting dirty. By the time Friday rolled around everyone was a little tired of being in the wilderness, so we all headed back to Payson to hang out at our house. We went to dinner at Cardo's and then Bob, Terri and the Halls spent the night. Of course, Brett can't let any visitors come without a trip to the woods for a little elk bugling. We had a fun waffle breakfast in the morning and then said goodbye as everyone headed back to Mesa.

Today Bradock had his very first church assignment. He was asked to give a scripture and the prayer. We decided on Mark 11:24, which goes along with their monthly theme of prayer and he worked all week to have it memorized. He did such a great job and we were so proud of him. He can't wait for his upcoming primary program, so he can do some more memorizing. In fact, this has opened up my eyes to how easy it would be to work on a different scripture every week. It just might become our new family goal:)
