Be kind. Have fun. Learn Lots. Bradock and Ray hear those words every morning as they leave for school. And on Wednesday July 23rd my two little twins got to hear me say it again as they both headed off to first grade. It's been a long time of discussion and contemplation but we decided it would be best for Mr. B to repeat first grade so that he could really master the skills taught, gain more confidence and really be ready to move on to second grade. We talked a lot about it with him and he seemed pretty stoked to be in the same grade as Ray. Last semester his teacher, Ms. Shipley, felt he had improved enough to probably move on but we just don't want every year to be a struggle. We really think it will be the best decision. It kind of makes things easier too since they will always be in the same school and activities. I don't know of two cuter kids.
