Mexico Vacay

The day after Ray's bday we headed down to Rocky Point, Mexico. We were planning on going to Cali to hang out with the Forts but Dr. Frost ended up letting us stay in his Mexico condo for free. We couldn't pass up on that deal! About a month or two before we were planning to go Brett told me that Rig was not allowed on our vacation. What?!!! He said we needed some time apart, it would be way more fun and he would be just fine to stay with fam. I was slightly freaked out and knew I had to get him napping well and sleeping through the night. Needless to say at about 5 months old (and with a little cry it out) things began to click for him. Naps began to be 1.5-2hrs and he was sleeping through the night! Yay!! I felt a lot better about leaving him with someone but was still anxious about the whole breastfeeding thing. I needed to stock up on enough frozen breastmilk and I knew I could pump while gone but I was afraid of him not wanting to breastfeed when I got back. Would he start preferring the bottle? So many questions that were making me feel uneasy. Plus Riggy had become such a great baby that I just felt sad to leave him. However I am so glad Brett made the decision to not bring him. We had such a great vacay and Rig did great with my parents while we were gone. It was seriously the best few days we have had in a long time. We slept, played, swam, ate and then repeated:) I couldn't have asked for anything better. I hope we start visiting Mexico more frequently.
