Miss Ray didn't start the school year off very well. The first day of school she came home with a headache which turned into a fever. She missed the next 2 days of school. Then the following week she came home again with a headache and fever. You know when Raylee is sick when she lies down on her own and doesn't want to eat anything. It turns out her gums had gotten infected from not brushing very well after losing her 2 bottom teeth. Brett had to help relieve the pain and since her top 2 teeth were super loose he decided to pull those ones as well. She was so funny and had stayed home from school and had set herself up in my bed. She said "Mom look I'm all set up. I can just throw up in my bowl right here, take a drink from my cup here and then change the channel here". All organized and efficient even when she's sick. I can't decide whether to laugh or be sad for her. Thank goodness after Brett pulled those teeth and fixed her gums she started feeling much much better. Sick kids are no bueno!
