Viva Las Vegas

This is all of us at Mystere. I was hoping you could see the awesome stage set up behind us, but it's too dark. Oh well, you will just have to check it out for yourself.

Here we are at yet another buffet. Were we crazy or what? Nah, we just love food!!

Here we all are at the rodeo and on our party bus. Okay, so it was just a bus shuttle, but we certainly pretended it was a party bus.

I was bound and determined to spot some celebrities, but no one was with me until Sarah and I saw Criss Angel. Unfortunately, my camera decided to die right before I got a pic with him, so Sarah got them with her camera. I will have to steal them from her once she posts them on her blog.

Are these the guys that starred in Brokeback Mountain??

This is all of us eating at one of Vegas' famous buffets before the rodeo. I don't think I have eaten more food than I did on this trip.

Last year for Christmas my parents treated all of us to a trip to Vegas for the NFR (National Final Rodeo), so we decided to make it a tradition and went again this year. I haven't had this much fun in a loooong time. We went to the rodeo Friday night and saw a cowboy taken off on a stretcher because he broke his leg and another guy got his boot caught in the rope and looked like he was trying to fly off his horse. It was a really intense night, but we all had a blast. The next day the boys headed off early in the morning to go play golf while us girls went shopping. By that afternoon we were all pooped, so we took a little cat nap to get us ready for our late night out. We had tickets to Cirque du Soleil-Mystere. It was incredible! Last year we saw Ka and Mystere was by far the best. Those people are so talented. I loved these two guys who came out all buffed and ripped and then were able to bend and move while holding each other in these insane poses. All I kept thinking is if these guys aren't gay their girlfriends had better be acrobatic. I would be saying "Honey I can't do that." Later that night in our hotel room Brett and Chance decided to reenact those guys and tried to hold each other up. Sarah and I almost peed or pants laughing so hard. I promised Brett I wouldn't post the pics, but it was hilarious. After the show the boys wanted to watch a little of that night's rodeo on tv, so Sarah and I decided we wanted to scope out the rest of the hotel and find out where all the action was at. Well, we ended up getting these free access tickets to this club, so somehow we convinced our hubbies to go clubb'n with us. Let's just say I haven't been dancing since I was single and certainly never with Brett, but I had so much fun. It was a blast to get down with my hubby. I felt 18 all over again. After partying the night away Sarah and I were exhausted and headed back to our room to go to bed. Brett and Chance ended up walking the strip and playing a little Black Jack. They came back just in time to leave for our early morning flight. Well, THANKS MOM AND DAD for another awesome and memorable trip. I can't wait for Justin to join in on the fun next year.

I know it's insane to me too that we are living in Germany. We are having a blast though and soaking up all the culture experiences we can. It is hard being away from family and friends, especially so far, but it's fun to experience this together. We will be here until 2009, so if your ever in Europe and need a place to stay, stop by and see me, haha. Looks like you had lot's of fun in Vegas. Have a great Christmas and hope your loving everyday being the cutest mom.
