Happy Easter!!

I think my mom is the cutest thing ever and looks fantastic for her age. Grandma, you are so beautiful and we love you so much!

Bradock absolutely loves dad. I thought little boys were supposed to be "mama's boys". Oh well, Brett could't be a better dad if he tried.

Bradock singing in the backseat on our way home from Pinetop. Good thing he was in a good mood because traffic was crazy coming Globe way, since Payson way was shut down.

Bradock loves to play with Dad's safety glasses. He thinks he's so funny when he puts them on.

Here is the most adorable little girl you ever did see. Avery's mom dresses her so darn cute. I just love her big blue eyes and cute smile.

Grandpa Flaherty is always the favorite with the kids. They were having so much fun blowing up these balloons and then chasing after them as they flew around. Unfortunately, Bradock didn't like the loud, squeeking noise that the balloons made.

Bradock loves to throw or push balls and then go chasing after them...doesn't take much to entertain this kid.

This is my nephew, Kasen, helping me blow out my candles.

What a fun week this has been. Brett and I took off to Vegas Monday morning and I headed straight to work and Brett went golfing...typical, I work and he plays. That evening Brett and I headed off to our hotel at the MGM Grand and took a little cat nap before our late night out on the town. We met up with his buddy Stan from dental school and his wife Jamie. We ate at the buffet there in our hotel and then started our long walk down the strip. It was crazy, well Vegas is always crazy, but it was St. Paddy's day so everyone had a reason to be intoxicated. We ended up walking almost the entire Vegas strip and by the time we got down to the "ghetto" part where the gambling is super cheap my feet were on fire. I swore they were gonna start bleeding. It was actually really funny because I saw this sign that said "Foot massage" and I was like that is so for me right now. Stan, being funny, said "I don't think they massage bloody feet". After watching Brett lose $20 in black jack we decided to take a cab back to our hotel instead of walking all the way back.

The next day we slept in a little and then decided to go to the Premium Outlets for some shopping. They are my favorite. Of course, I have to have breakfast before doing anything, so we were driving everywhere looking for a place to eat. We ended up, once again, in a ghetto part of Vegas at this McDonalds (I was craving a yogurt parfait) and when we walked in I couldn't believe my eyes. Let's just say we were definately the minorities and there was a McDonald's security guard watching the line...never trust a McDonald's with a security guard. There was this lady near the door that was covered in bags and she looked like she hadn't ever seen a bath...it was disgusting. When we got up to the line we were told they were no longer serving breakfast...it was like 10:35am and we had apparently missed our chance. I felt like Adam Sandler in that movie Big Daddy where he goes to McDonald's, but misses breakfast because he's too late. I was so bummed. So we jumped back in the rental and were on the look out for anything that served something remotely close to breakfast and that wasn't in the scary ghetto. We ended up at this deli in a little bit better part of town and I scarfed my breakfast. I was starving by then and a little cranky...you know me when I'm hungry. Well, we had a great time shopping and flew home that evening to pick up Bradock from the Flaherty's.

Work was crazy, busy the rest of the week and Friday morning when I got in my car Brett and Bradock had left me a little pre-birthday card. It was so sweet. They mentioned that the next day up in Pinetop I had an appt at Spa Estique for some self pampering of a facial and massage. Friday afternoon we drove up to mom and dad's and on Saturday I got to enjoy my birthday gift from my boys. It was fabulous.

That evening we hung out with the Cabezas for a pre-Easter/birthday celebration. They are from Bolivia, where my bro Justin is serving his mission. My whole family is flying to Bolivia in August to pick Justin up. I asked the Cabezas all kinds of questions of what to bring, what to wear, what to eat, what to do in Bolivia. They are so sweet and gave me some good tips. I am still a little worried about my whole hair situation, but I guess a girl has to get humble once in awhile. Maybe I just won't post those pics on the blog when the time comes hahaha!! We didn't see much of dad because he was so darn busy. In fact, Brett got to see him do a c-section, which turned out to be an extremely intense surgery. Brett said he was tired from just watching all the action and didn't know how my dad could go from that to delivering another baby to doing another c-section for a set of twins. He is such an amazing dad. We are so lucky.

Well, we went to sacrament meeting with mom and then drove home to have Easter/birthday dinner with the Flaherty's. We had so much fun hanging out in the backyard enjoying the beautiful weather. Bradock loves balls (footballs, baseballs, etc) and just loved playing with them in the grass. The Flaherty's gave me some fun presents that I can't wait to use (dry shampoo-for people who hate to wash their hair, eyelash curler, eyelash extender, lip gloss, eyeliner. It's the kind of stuff you want, but never spend the money on, which made for a perfect gift.

Well, I hope I haven't bored you too much. It's been a fantastic week and I loved that I got to celebrate my 26th birthday on the Savior's day. What a treat! I hope everyone enjoyed their Easter.

Trust me I am a total planner too. I think I must drive Jonathan crazy trying to plan our life which is impossible when in the Army. I love your hair and it makes me want to chop mine off agian. I am trying to patiently grow it out but it's ridiculously hard. Good thing I'm way over here so no one can see how ugly and shaggy I am. I love all your Easter pics and sounds like you guys are doing great. Happy belated Birthday, and the Vegas trip sounded like a great getaway.
