Trick or Treat

Once upon time there was this cute little indian girl and this rough looking cowboy who didn't like to sit still for pictures...or smile at the same time. This is the little indian girl's way of saying "cheese" and smiling.
Then the little indian girl decided to give us a really cute smile, but the rough looking cowboy decided to shoot at the photographer.
Rough looking cowboy and little indian girl were sick of pictures and were ready to go "Trick or Treating."
But not until they gave each other a kiss.
And a little indian dance.
Thanks Grandma Tindall for making this little indian girl the cutest thing around and for winning "Best Costume" at the ward Halloween party. Six cute little trick-or-treaters

Cuddling near the fire in front of our neighbor's house for our traditional outside movie night.
It was a good turn out and we had fun watching "The Burbs"

Last week my little neighbor girl (she's only 6) and I were walking my dog to our mailbox and our conversation goes as follows:
Hannah: "Donnie, you really need to get ready for Halloween."
Me: "What do you mean?"
Hannah: "Well you really need to decorate your house...like our house...and this house and this house and this house." She then proceeds to point out all the cutely decorated homes in our neighborhood.
Me: "Oh, I know but we just don't have any money for Halloween decorations."
Hannah: "Well, doesn't Brett work?"
Me: "No, he goes to school."
Hannah: "Well he should really get a job...like my dad."
Me: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Hannah: "No I am being Serious!"

Then just a couple days ago we were walking to the mailbox again (this time Brett is with us) and she tells him:
Hannah: "Brett, why are you in school? Only kids go to school."
Brett: "Well, I am going to school to be a dentist and kids can't go to dental school. You have to be older to go."
Hannah: "Well, I think you are too old and need to get a job."

So stinkin hilarious!! I should have pointed out to Hannah that I did have at least one Halloween decoration, thanks to my sister. She printed off this cute vinyl Halloween decoration for me, so I guess I wasn't a total Halloween scrooge.
