Bradock has been having so much fun and learning a ton at preschool. Everday he brings things home that he has either made, cut or colored. Unfortunately, I am not the type of mom that gets very sentimental over this stuff, so it usually hits the trash can after a quick conversation with Mr. B about what it is, did he have fun making it, etc, etc! However, inside his back pack yesterday was an envelope and inside was this adorable letter. Bradock got to tell his teacher a few things about his mom and dad and here is what he had to say:
"My mommy goes to the gym. She cleans up toys. She makes pasta. My daddy plays with me. He goes to dentist school. I love them." I thought Bradock would love to see this someday, so thank goodness for scanners because now he'll have it forever and I can throw away the original...hehehehe...I love technology!
I should also add that everytime Brett gets home from school Bradock asks him "How was dental school, Dad?" and when I get done teaching a class he asks, "How was class, Mom?" I just think it's the cutest thing for him to be so genuinely caring. In fact, that's what his teacher has said about him..."He is super sweet and shy, but starting to warm-up to us. He loves to watch the other kids and laughs really loud when they are funny." His teacher has asked us to start working on strengthening his hand muscles because his are extremely weak. They do a lot of fine motor skill activities in class that he struggles with (i.e. putting clothes line pins around a paper plate...he has to use two hands to clamp them open), so we are looking for some easy, cheap ways to strengthen his fine motor skills. I have some play-doh that we will start working with and a stress ball that will help too. It's funny how we take some of those natural abilities for granted, but hopefully with some practice Mr. B will be back on track.
