Sicklings and Warm Protein Packed Breakfast Food

3 little bears all snuggled in bed...well that's what we do when I have the stomach flu! Mr. B had it a week ago Monday, Raylee on Tuesday and well just my luck because I have had a queasy tummy since Tues night. These two are the only things putting a smile on this mama's face:) They told me that I needed to lay down and they would join me...how did I get so lucky!

I actually started feeling better by Friday evening, so Brett and I were able to go to the adult session of Stake Conference Saturday night. The kids wanted to set the table and make their own dinner before the babysitter arrived. My cute little Raylee girl went and got her temple pic out of her room and set it right in front of her. She just looked at it the whole time she was eating...funny girl, but it totally warmed this mama's heart.

After being sick and not wanting to eat much my appetite is back and with a vengeance. The kids asked for French toast and my stomach agreed so we busted out a tasty clean version. Batter: 2 egg whites, 1/4 scoop Vanilla PRO powder, splash of almond milk, cinnamon and stevia. I sandwiched mine with a couple slices of banana and a Tbsp of PB2 with WF sugar free pancake syrup on top. I couldn't eat it fast enough:)
After an awesome leg workout this morning it was a protein pancakes kind of breakfast...kind of been this way with the chillier weather. I used 1/2c egg whites, 1/2 scoop Vanilla PRO powder (I use SunWarrior), cinnamon, stevia, extract of choice, splash of unsweetened vanilla almond milk and xantham gum (natural thickener). Then you can top it to your liking: fruit, sugar-free syrup, any all-natural nut butter...possibilities are endless! Then enjoy!
