This weekend has been one of the funnest weekends I have ever had. My neighbor and good friend, Meegan, turned 30, so we got to enjoy this weekend celebrating in style. We began Friday night by heading over to Pizzeria Bianco in Phoenix. It is a small Italian restaurant located right by the Arizona Science Center and is known for it's great wine and pizza...of course we went to enjoy the great pizza. Meegan, Hannah and I got there at about 3:45 and were shocked to see that there was already quite a line waiting for the restaurant to open at 5pm. We had been told that our wait could be up to 4.5hrs, but we were crossing our fingers that we could get in earlier. It must have been the birthday girl's luck because we were the last party they allowed in the restaurant, so we were able to seat a little after 5. We were so relieved because we sure were sweaty from our wait already.
Our fun little group consisted of Meegan, her two sisters, her daughter and myself.
This is one of the pizzas we ordered called the Rosa. It was featured on the Food Network channel as the best pizza...it did not disappoint. I will have to say that my favorite pizza was the Biancoverde...so flavorful. All of the food was soooo delicious and we enjoyed every bite.
Later that evening, we went to the movies and saw "Julie and Julia". This was the perfect movie for Meegan because she graduated from college with a culinary degree. She is the best chef and can make some unbelieavable food and desserts. After the movie we headed to the Arizona Biltmore Spa and Resort, where her sister had gotten us a room. When we walked in to our room there was this cute cupcake on the table complimentary of the resort.

The next day we got up and headed to breakfast. It was the best continental breakfast I have ever had. They had yogurt parfaits in champagne glasses, spinach stuffed croissants, fruit and much much more. After breakfast, we headed to the pool for a fun day in the sun.
Here's Hannah and I having fun on the water slide.

After swimming all day, we were all getting pretty hungry, so I decided to take the girls to my favorite resaurant, My Florist. It is also located in Phoenix and they have the best salads, sandwiches and desserts. Here is a plate of our appetizers. My favorite is the Chicken Mango salad, but it is only served as the "special" on Tuesdays, so my next fav is the Brie salad...yum yum.
After our late lunch, we rushed home, quickly got ready and headed to Meegan's fun birthday dinner at Tutti Santi's Italian restaurant with a bunch of other couples. Jake, Meegan's husband, reserved a private room for us to celebrate...it was so fun!
Once again, we enjoyed some great appetizers and food. I think I gained at least 10lbs this weekend.
Jake also surprised Meegan with her favorite cheescakes from Cheesecake Factory. We all got to stuff ourselves with Dulce de Leche and Blueberry White Chocolate.
Here are all the girls from that night.
And here is the whole gang.
In my opinion, it was the perfect 30th birthday. I hope Meegan enjoyed it as much as I did. I can't wait to celebrate more fun birthdays with her.

Oh my gosh! What a fun B-day bash! I hope my 30th is half that fun.
I'm totally laughing at the picture of Bradock asleep on the stairs.
Noah has cookies and milk every night too but he prefers chips ahoy. He used to do whole but I made him change to 2%...I'm a bad wife.
