On Thursday my parents, sister, and I picked up my brother from the airport. Justin has been in Nicaragua and Bolivia all summer doing some research for one of his BYU professors, so we were sooo excited to finally see him. Since I was already in Phoenix my parents took the kids and I ran over to the Social Security office to finally get Raylee a social security card. We received her birth certificate a couple weeks ago, so now she is officially on the records and hopefully able to receive insurance soon.
When I got back to my house my parents were going to head over to their condo, so Justin could unpack and take a little nap from his long travels. Bradock loves to ride in Papa's Big Black truck, so when he heard they were leaving he started begging to go with them. So Raylee and I were left to have a fun girl's afternoon. We met Rachel and Carsyn at the mall to ride the carousel for free.
Raylee loved riding on the zebra and really loved having mom all to her self. Rachel even commented on how chill she was without having a brother to pester.
Since my brother has been in third world countries for the past couples months he was dying to eat some Matta's, so the whole fam went that evening. I love their chips and salsa!
On Friday afternoon, I got a call from my fam saying they were heading to LJ's pizza for their yummy lunch buffet. Well, after we had all stuffed ourselves Bradock asked if he could "hold you", so I picked him up from his booster seat and then looked at my fingers. The poor thing had the nastiest blow out I have ever witnessed. After cleaning Bradock up in the bathroom we headed to Old Navy to get him a new shirt and shorts. I was kind of embarassed to take him in the store in just a diaper and shoes...so trashy, but what could I do?
Friday night my parents had a slumber party with my kids, so Brett and I could go and play 007 with Sarah, Justin and some friends. It was a lot of fun and I have some pretty good battle wounds to prove it. Lets just say I was not made to climb trees and falling out of them can be both bruttle and hilarious.
Brett and I got home around 1am from playing 007 and our alarm went off at 4:45am because we had planned a fun lake day with my fam. Tired, exhausted and bruised from the night before we headed to Saguaro Lake for a fun day of wakeboarding, tubing, swimming and cliff jumping.
I love that age does not seem to stop my parents from trying new things. Here is my 58year old mom shredding it on the wakeboard.
Here's my 60 year old Dad trying to wakeboard for the first time...way to go Dad!
Sunday we went to church, had a fun little brunch and then said "adios" to Justin, who headed back to Utah. It was so fun to see and hang out with Justin again and we can't wait until we can do it again!

What a fun weekend. I love your little comments on what's best at the restaurants.
How fun! It looks like you are always doing something fun with your family...isn't that what families are for? I can't believe how big Raylee is getting, she is so cute! Kudos to your mom and dad for wakeboarding, that's awesome!
Go Debbie! I'm so impressed with her skills!
