I know it seems like I have been gone a ton lately, but the Gonzalez boys and my sis-in law, Mindi, had some birthdays recently so the family decided to take a trip to Cali to celebrate at Disneyland. I have only been to Disneyland once when I was like 7, so I was super excited. I wasn't sure if I wanted to take the kids because I didn't know if they would like it or if there was stuff they could actually ride on. I am SO glad we decided to take Bradock because he totally loved it and he was such a good boy. Raylee got to hang out with my mom in Pinetop for a couple days while we were gone. I just have to add that I was completely shocked at how much it costs to get into Disneyland. Thank goodness Bradock was free, but geez $150 for Brett and I. It's those kind of moments that I think back at how much my parents sacrificed for us, how thankful I am to them for fun memories and why we probably only went to Disneyland once.
Our first ride of the day was the Matterhorn and Bradock just loved it. This was his face the whole time.

Don't these two guys look cute on the carousel together...well maybe creepy is a more appropriate word.
Our big kiddie clan.
My nephew Grady wasn't too fond of the "scary" rides at Disneyland, but Brett and I convinced him to go on Thunder Mountain with us...doesn't he look so excited? We could not, however, get him to go on Indiana Jones with us, which by far was my favorite ride.
Brett and Bradock flying high.
The Buzzlight Year ride was a big hit in our fam and I'm not talking just with Bradock. Brett actually wanted to keep riding this ride because he was a top scorer with over 1 million points. He's such a big kid at heart.
This was the pic of us that flashed while on the ride. I love our facial expressions in it and that you can't even see Bradock.
I have to admit it was a great day to go to Disneyland because it is considered their slow season right now, so we didn't really have to wait too long in any lines. Thank goodness because it was so stinkin hot we all thought we were going to die.Bob and Carson having fun in Autotopia.
Bradock is all about doing things himself lately, so he wanted to get in and out of rides all on his own. We kind of held people up a little bit, but oh well Bradock was happy.
It was so nice that our hotel was right across the street because later in the afternoon we headed back, took some naps and then went back for some more Disneyland fun in the evening. We just had to hit up the carousel again.

Oh Donnie, I don't think I could be any more jealous than I am right now. I've been craving a trip to Disneyland (if that's even possible) and I'm so bummed that we live so far away from it now! I'm secretly hoping and planning a trip next October, the absolute best time to go. I am so excited for you that you got to go back after all these years and it makes it 10x's more fun when you take your kids! Great pics, I especially love the one of the Buzzlight year ride, your faces are super intense!
How fun!! I LOVE Disneyland! That's actually really nice that you didn't have to bring Raylee so you could do a lot more! I'm glad you got to go again!!
