Labor Day Weekend

I started the Labor Day weekend by heading to Phoenix Saturday morning with Sarah to do a little shopping at Last Chance and Home Fabrics. We both ended up getting some great deals on some fun stuff. I love the adrenaline rush of shopping at Last Chance and searching to find really good deals. Due to the rain, some of our Labor Day plans changed that afternoon, so Sarah and I ended up making 11 table cloths from the fabric we bought at Home Fabrics. I am so lucky to have such a crafty sister who spends the time to help me make things that I would otherwise never be able to do. They turned out so cute and now I'm even more excited to teach my Young Women's lessons.

We had so much fun at the lake with my fam last weekend that we decided to do it again, but with the Flaherty crew this time. We woke up early this morning and headed to Saguaro Lake. Thank goodness there was no more rain because we got to enjoy another fun day of wakeboarding, tubing, cliff jumping, swimming and catching some rays.

These two chicas have the cutest little swimsuit buns.

Here is another reason I love taking the kids to the lake...they get so exhausted and take awesome naps.
