A free flight, free place to stay and the best company in the world = ONE AMAZING GIRL's TRIP! My faves from the trip:
-Freezing our tails off, but buying scarfs and lots of Starbucks to keep us warm
-Eating some pretty dang good food including: (Magueta's, Viatnamese (best meat ever), brick oven pizzas (thank you Angelo's), Pop Burger 2x (best french fries I ever tasted), Nuts 4 Nuts (everyday and several bags at a time), Turkish food on Hell's Kitchen (loved everything about this place)
-Shopping til our arms hurt from carrying our bags around
-Our boots were made for walking and boy did we walk
-Finding my lost shirt at Forever 21...hip hip hooray!
-More shopping
-Chicago and all that Jazz
-Walking from Ashley's apt in Queens to the 36th Ave. metro stop...loved passing the Fried Chicken Palace everyday
-China town...you want purses...Prada, Gucci, Coach...follow me!
-Meeting "Mega" who was the china town pimp daddy and our very own personal tour guide
-Loving that we had one absolutely awesome day of beautiful weather
-Working out every morning and sweating up a storm in Ashley's sauna of an apt
-Seeing "Girl Talk" on Off Off Broadway
-Going to the Statue of Liberty in the pouring rain, meeting random Asian girl who wanted a pic with Rachel...thumbs up, and meeting Gilbert from Lebanon that was trying to get a little cozy with me under the umbrella
-A little whoot whoot for Angelina Jolie and Cameron Diaz...aka Britney and Trixie
-People watching...no better place than in NYC
-Feeling lucky to not be those mothers hefting their strollers and children (who were all bundle up and looking like marshmellows)up the subway stairs
-Getting fun texts with cute pics of my kids having fun in the warm weather. I also love the pic that I got of Ray's pigtails that Brett was so very proud of doing all by himself.
-Enjoying every minute of being with one of my bestest friends
