Prescott Fashion Show

This last weekend I, very last minute, decided to go with my friend Meegan up to Prescott to see a fashion show that her sister was apart of. Meegan's sister owns the cutest clothing boutique and show-cased some of her clothing in the show. When we got to the show we were pleasantly suprised to see the cutest little gift bags sitting on each seat. In them were tons of discount coupons to local stores and salons in Prescott and a cute little gift...a got this adorable new necklace. Anyways, the show was a blast, minus the "dancing cats" (kind of an amateur version of the broadway show "CATS")...the money and proceeds of the show went to a local cat shelter...we were kind of bummed that's what our money went to..sorry cat lovers...definitely don't like cats. Afterwards, a bunch of us girls including all of Meegan's sisters ate at Bin 239, which had the most delicious brouchettes, pizzas, salads and desserts...I couldnt' get enough of the good food and fun night.

When we left the restaurant it was snowing so hard I couldn't believe it. Meegan was having a hard time seeing out the car windows so I decided to try and help and rolled down my window to push the snow off and well it all came tumbling on top of me in the car. Along with getting snow-soaked my ring flew off my hand and out the window. Luckily, I found it in the snow, but what a mess...I was laughing hysterically. We were also a little worried about being able to come home on Sunday for fear of being snowed in, but we were able to get home. I am so glad I made the trip, which turned out to be such a fun and perfect weekend.

I got this cute pix message while I was in Prescott from Brett saying "Goodnight Mom...We love you!"

Hi Donnie! Catching up on your blog... seriously! A marathon!! You are so awesome. It is a dream of mine. :) Also, I love "love and logic", too. That is so great that they offered the classes for free! Score! Loved your 10 year reunion post. I so admire the fact that you've never had a car pmnt. That is the way to go. Glad you guys are doing well.
