A Very Happy Valentine's Day

The last couple of months my oh-so-reliable little Camry hasn't been oh-so-reliable. It had been making some extremely strange noises, so we took it took a mechanic who fixed the "bare minimums" for me just so I could get by. It was a fun week of sharing one vehicle, dropping Brett off at school and picking him up or him finding a ride home and all that great stuff...honestly I don't know how families function with one vehicle...do-able absolutely, but would I want to...no way! Well, a couple of weeks ago, the bare minimums just weren't cutting it and my car, once again, had to be shipped off to the mechanic for a major make-over ($800 to be exact). This time, my unbelievably kind parents had their extra "Condo car" for me to use while mine was being fixed. Now this "extra" car is a pretty darn sweet ride...a fully loaded Escalade. I was starting to wish my car was doomed and wouldn't get fixed and I could just keep driving this nice vehicle. Well, turns out my wish came true...not the doomed part, but the new car part. I jokingly mentioned my dream to my parents and they responded with a "Well, why don't you sell your car and buy the escalade from us?" Of course, I was like "I wish, but there's no way we could afford it!" My parents being the totally generous type offered a great deal that would work with our budget until Brett graduates and gets a job, so we posted the Camry on Craigslist and whattyaknow...it sold in 30 minutes...so awesome! So, on Valentine's Day I got a beautiful new car that I feel so undeserving of, but love none-the-less. It fits our family so nice and it will be able to hold a few more little ones...if more come along. Bradock and Raylee love riding in "Mamaw's" car everyday. Hopefully, one of these days they will realize it is now Mom's car.
