Our friends, the Rosenlofs, invited us to Chaparral Pines Country Club for a Christmas party some other friends were throwing. It was formal holiday attire, so I set out to find exactly what I wanted. I found this picture of Jenny Garth on pinterest and her whole retro look inspired me. I actually had this grey retro dress that I had worn at Tanner and Heidi's wedding and decided it would be perfect for the look I was going for. The day of the party I got to work experimenting with my makeup and I just love how it can completely transform you. I know it's silly, but fashion and makeup just make me giddy:) We had a ton of fun at the party and I was pleased with how my inspired look turned out. I think we need more formal parties just so we have excuses to get all fancied up:)
