The week has finally come and we get to find out what this little baby is going to be. I decided to have my nails done specifically for the occasion and they turned out so funky and fun.
After my class and after getting ready Brett and I picked up the kids early from school headed to valley for the appt. I had to drink a bunch of water before my appt and well I must have drank too much because I seriously almost peed my pants before we even got there. We flew into the parking lot and I have never booked it so fast for the restroom. I didn't even check in first or anything. That is a pain I have never experienced before and hopefully won't have to again. My name was called shortly after so all of us headed back to the ultra sound room. I laid down on the table while the kids stood next to me watching the screen on the wall. It was so fun to have my fam finally see this little baby on screen. So far it has only been me at my appts so I think it finally made it more real for them, espeially Brett. All of a sudden Brett mouths to me that it's a girl. I looked at him like "how do you know". Then the next shot the tech had up was most definitely not a girl. It was for sure a boy! We were ecstatic, especially since all of us were wearing the color of what we thought it would be...we were all wearing blue:) I would have felt bad if it was a girl:) I had been asking Bradock and Raylee what they thought the baby would be and what they wanted. Both had always said boy. I asked Raylee why she didn't want a sister. She said she didn't want to share a room. I pointed out the fact that she shared a room with Bradock but she she said that she didn't want to share a room with a sister. She might have a little something to do with our wishing for another boy:) He is was sitting really low because i had to keep pushing my pants down for her to get images of his head. Little mister had his fists right in front of his face for most of it until the tech had me roll on my side. It might have just been me but he looks like he might have the famous Tindall nose:) We met with midwife Laura afterwards, who I hadn't met yet. Brett really liked her and well I have loved all the midwives I have met. I love the calm, natural approach they have to pregnancy, delivery and just to me as a patient in general. Afterwards we headed to the Flaherty's, wearing our blue, for a little swim party get together. Everyone was so excited for us. It's so fun to finally be able to start planning a little more now!
