Home Remodel

It has only taken a little over a year but I have finally gotten the itch to seriously give our house a facelift. I have Terri to thank for helping push that desire into work mode. Her, Bob and Aunt Diane came up for Labor Day weekend and helped remove all the hideous wallpaper in the kitchen, the kids' rooms and the master bedroom. The kitchen was a lot of work and I was ready  to be done but the kids' room was a lot easier and the master bedroom was a breeze with the help of Bob and Brett. They sure lucked out on the easy room:) Then the next few days I painted the kitchen with a little help from Brett in the evenings. By the next weekend the kitchen was ready for new colored cabinets. Terri came up again to help paint and then Kiley joined us Friday evening and Saturday. I can't believe how amazing the kitchen looks. It's a totally new room. I have had several people comment that I am in "nesting" mode early. Well whatever it is I would rather do it before I get too big and it gets a lot harder to maneuver:)

It has been a very productive and exhausting week but the results are well worth it. Next we will have the family room painted and hopefully start phase one of our remodeling plans. Hopefully we will have a new master bedroom, bathroom and closet and an additional room soon:) Can't wait to see what happens!

Saturday morning we went to Mr. B's first soccer game of the season where he scored twice. He is seriously such an awesome soccer player
