Gilbert Temple

Yesterday we drove down to the valley so we could go with all the Flaherty's to the open house of the new Gilbert Temple. Since we weren't going until the afternoon I made an appt to get my hair done. I was super nervous since it would be the longest I was away from Rigdon and Brett would have to give him a bottle. We haven't introduced the bottle yet but I have been pumping here and there so we would have some milk in cases like this. I even had to take the breast pump with me to the hair salon because whether I'm feeding him or not my milk still comes in. While pumping I got a couple texts from Bob with pics of Rigdon saying he was doing great with the bottle. Yay! I was so glad he took it since I had heard some babies don't like the bottle after only being breastfed. 

Brett picked me up from the hair salon and we headed to the temple. We had to stand in line to see a video in the stake center located right next to the temple and then we got to tour the temple after. The temple was so beautiful. I loved the neutral, modern colors and the chandelier in the celestial room. Such a peaceful, serene feeling. Afterwards we all went to dinner at Charlestons. It was a  busy day but so fun.
