A Weekend Without Dad

Brett left Wednesday night for a CE dental course in L.A. and won't be back until Saturday night. And just my luck Ray comes down with something. She woke up Wednesday morning with a headache so she stayed home from school and she just got progressively worse as the day went on. She started running a fever, wasn't hungry, and slept a lot of the day. By that night she was throwing up so needless to say between her and Rig I didn't get much sleep. Ray stayed home on Thursday too and after getting a lot of sleep she seems to be doing a whole lot better. This morning I was hurrying trying to get her and Mr. B up and ready for school when Rig woke up and needed to be fed. I asked Bradock what else he needed to do to get ready and he said he was just waiting for me to do his hair. I said whey don't you try and do it yourself? He got a big grin on his face and said "Really?" I said "Sure!" A little later he came into Riggy's room all proud of what he had done. He asked me to take a pic and send it to dad so he could see what a good job he had done. My little boy is getting so big! 

Saturday was a rainy day and we were stuck inside most of the day. We did leave that evening to watch Ray in her gymnastics exhibition. Afterwards we had a little mini-cakes and icecream party. And of course Riggy smiled through the fun:)
