Adios Hospital

Thursday morning finally came and we knew we were going home. We were so done with being in the hospital. Rigdon got his circumcision done and it literally konked him out. After making sure he was ok from the procedure we were finally given clearance to leave. Brett and I had both our cars at the hospital so Rigdon and I got in my car, along with all our hospital bags and headed to Grandma and Grandpa Kocherhans. They weren't unable to come to the hospital since both of them haven't been doing so well. Not in a sickness sense but more in a weak, slow-moving way. Terri has mentioned that it may not be long before one or both of them passes away. Brett and I wanted to make sure they got a chance to meet their newest great-grandson. Especially since Rigdon Jay is named after Grandpa. I have never seen Grandpa get so emotional as he did when we told him we wanted to use his name for the middle name. He was so thankful and I just told him if this little boy grows up to be half of what Grandpa is he will be doing just fine:)

After visiting with them for about an hour we finally hit the road to head home to Payson. For some reason it was weird driving with this new little baby in the car. In my mind Im thinking "My life has just completely changed and people are going about their lives like normal." I felt even more protective and cautious as I drove. I know it sounds silly but that's how I felt. We arrived in Payson just as the Mr. B and Ray were getting home. It was so nice to finally be home and back together as a family. We were back to normal life and reality:)
