Dr. Roper

Friday night, after our massages, I spent the night at the condo. My mom and i went on a 4mile walk in the morning and then spent the rest of the morning/early afternoon running errands again. I finally decided to head back home since I wasn't feeling any changes in my body. Brett had gotten a sitter for the kids, so he could go roping with Jerry Hawkins and his son. As I was driving home Brett text me to come and stop by the arena to see him and say hello to everyone. For some reason I was super emotional driving home. I just kept crying. I think everything is becoming more real and this baby will be here any day. I just pray for a good, natural delivery and birth and a healthy baby boy. I wasn't sure I was up for seeing people right then but decided to stop by anyways. It was fun chatting with Kathy (she is always so fun to chat with and is such a hoot) and to see Brett rope. I had heard him talk about roping but never had seen him in action. He most definitely impressed me and luckily kept all his fingers intact. That's my biggest fear about him roping. If he loses a finger or hurts his hands in anyway he can't be a dentist...it's as simple as that. So it makes me so nervous for him to be roping even though I know how much he loves it. One of the neighbor guys was taking pics of them in action and they actually turned out pretty cool. I'm glad he had fun but hopefully he doesn't make it too much of a weekend habit:)
