Happy New Years!!!

Tuesday was New Years Eve. I taught my HIIT class that morning then the kids and I drove down to the valley. We met up with Justin, Jerry and my mom for a little shopping at Hobby Lobby and AZ Mills. Afterwards we grabbed some Cheesecake Factory takeout (love me some Luau Salad) and then hung out at the condo until Brett finally drove down to join us. He had a super busy work day and saw like 40 patients. I think he was the only dentist open that day. Finally at about 9:30p we headed over to the Marbella cul-de-sac to hang out. We sat around the bonfire, shot off fireworks and chatted while the kids had fun running around playing. I barely made it to midnight I was so tired and then headed back to the condo to go to bed. Brett and the kids finally came back to the condo around 1:30a. Brett and Chance then took off to go hunting down south near Tucson for a couple days. 

New Years Day the kids and I met up with my mom and Sarah's girls at the park to eat lunch and play. The weather was absolutely gorgeous. 

I enjoyed the sunshine and feeling little mister do some major ninja kicking in my tummy. I'm going to miss not having a belly and having him inside me. I have really liked being pregnant and have felt so good that it has been such a fun and amazing experience. I really will be sad to not feel him inside me anymore. 

The kids had been begging to go swimming and actually complaining of being hot so we finally took them to the condo pool yesterday after spending a couple hours playing over at the cul-de--sac again. Who complains about it being in the 70s?!!! My kids are most definitely Paysonites now. However, one of the things I miss most about living in Mesa is letting the kids play outside with all the neighborhood kids while the moms sit outside and chat. It was fun to hang out with Rachel and Meegan for awhile.
